Si-Al-Ba alloy

The SiAlBa alloy is the compound deoxidizer of steel making and the desulphurizer.
In productional practice, We did comparative analysis about the deoxidation of Al、SiAlFe and SiAlBa, We found out that the deoxidation SiAlBa is the same as that of pure aluminum and it is 1.44times better than that of the SiAl alloy. This shows that the deoxidation of Ba is much better. Also it shows the comprehensive deoxidation of SiAlBa has been improved because the aluminum existence led to the improvement of Al utilization ratio.
The use of SiAlBa can change the fluidity of steel water and make the results of deoxidation easy go up and has it easily got rid of so that it can purify the steel water, change the distribution of mixture in steel, make crystalline grain smaller and improve the processing properties of steel.
